Delta’s Regular Cockpit Cover is waterproof and features an adjustable bungee cord that helps to firmly hold to your cockpit coaming. Delta’s 12AR Large Cockpit Cover is waterproof and features an adjustable bungee cord that helps it hold firmly to your cockpit coaming. All kayak models in our Performance Touring category come with the option of our Spring Loaded Skeg System. Our skeg system is simple to deploy and features a kink-free operation. The skeg line is housed in a tube and tucked away under-deck so it reduces the chance of snagging when loading and unloading gear. As a note, a skeg can be deployed at different increments so the paddler can determine the amount of aid in tracking needed. A skeg does not move side to side so it will not aid in steering the boat. If you would like a steering aid, you can request a rudder as an option. -
Specifically designed for our Contour Seat System, this hip pad fit kit allows the paddler to personalize the in-cockpit fit of their Delta Kayak. This kit includes two molded side supports and 4 foam pads and helps seal the gap between your hips and the side pillar of Delta’s Contour seat for a snug fit. This system will help paddlers gain in-cockpit control while bracing, rolling or edging.
